This demonstration campaign relates to the fictional Zacbury Wind Farm Park and has been created to show how an objection campaign appears and functions within the ObjectNow platform. The development and locations described are not real and are used only to illustrate a realistic planning scenario.

The campaign showcases the new ObjectNow Version 4.0 release. It is cleaner, fresher and quicker to navigate, making the process of submitting an objection simpler and more accessible for everyone.

This example demonstrates how objections are clearly structured, how policy context and local impacts are presented together, and how complex issues can be explained in an understandable way. This template is now used by default for all objection campaigns going forward.

By submitting an objection through this form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with the GDPR and Data Protection Policy of ObjectNow. These terms are intended to operate in accordance with the law of Scotland and are framed so as to be enforceable before the Scottish courts, including the Court of Session in Edinburgh.

ObjectNow operates as a secure digital service for the generation and submission of planning objection letters on behalf of users. In order to provide this service, ObjectNow collects and processes only such personal data as is strictly necessary to generate, submit, and record an objection. This data may include your name, postal address, postcode, email address, and any personal comments you choose to include. No additional personal data is sought or processed.

All personal data is stored in encrypted form within a secure database. ObjectNow does not have the ability to view or access personal information in an unencrypted or human readable form. Personal data is processed solely for the purposes of generating and transmitting your objection to the relevant planning authority, maintaining an auditable submission record, and issuing a supporter code to enable future submissions should you choose to make them.

ObjectNow does not sell, trade, license, or otherwise disclose personal data to any third party. Your objection letter is transmitted only to the relevant planning authority or decision making body identified by the campaign to which you are responding. Following submission, personal data is retained only in encrypted form for record keeping, legal accountability, and supporter code functionality. The generated objection letter itself is not retained and is deleted from ObjectNow systems immediately after successful submission.

ObjectNow provides a structured objection letter drafted on established planning, legal, and policy grounds. Where you choose to add, amend, or otherwise modify any part of the generated objection letter, including the insertion of personal comments or changes to existing text, such modifications are made solely at your discretion. ObjectNow does not review, approve, or validate user made amendments and accepts no liability for the substance, accuracy, tone, or legal effectiveness of any modified content. In particular, ObjectNow shall not be liable for any weakening, dilution, inconsistency, or loss of legal or evidential force arising from user edits or additions to the original generated text. Responsibility for the final content of the submitted objection rests entirely with you.

Individuals under the age of sixteen must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to submitting an objection. Where ObjectNow is notified that an objection has been submitted by an individual under sixteen without such consent, the associated record will be deleted without delay upon notification.

You acknowledge that, once forwarded, your objection falls under the control of the relevant planning authority. Planning authorities may publish objection letters on publicly accessible planning portals, which may include the display of names and addresses. To protect user privacy, ObjectNow includes a formal request within the footer of every objection letter asking that personal details be redacted from public display. The decision whether to redact rests solely with the authority concerned. Where personal details are published and you wish them to be removed, you must contact the relevant authority directly, as ObjectNow has no control over third party publication practices.

All personal data is handled in full compliance with applicable United Kingdom data protection law, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation. ObjectNow acts as a data controller for the purposes of these regulations and undertakes to process personal data lawfully, fairly, transparently, and securely at all times.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
